Tim Barker received a B.S. in Geological Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and an M.S. from Stanford University in Geophysics. During his 32 years with Shell he gained extensive experience in seismic data processing and interpretation while working in the United States, the Netherlands, and Malaysia. Tim excelled at quantitative interpretation and was recognized as a subject matter expert in the areas of 4D seismic interpretation, seismic inversion, and seismically constrained reservoir modeling. He spent 10 years in research, developing tools and workflows to facilitate these applications.
